ArmChair....

Every year I try to find a high school QB and follow him thru the season... Last Fall I first went to see Myers, then Broadway, and then Hollisworth... and then I went to a Catholic game...

I have not seen a Louisiana high school quarterback like Zack Oliver since I went to New Orleans years ago to see Eli play.... I continued to go to every Catholic game all the way to West Monroe just to watch this kid...

YOU could not have gone to the Catholic games last year and say the things you put on this thread... The kid had a total of 5 sacks the entire year and only 5 interceptions and that was in 14 games. I didnt see a mental mistake in the games that I went to (9 games)...

Why would you put that BS on your thread. Also, I found out that one of the reasons he throws the ball so well, is that his father and brother were College passing quarterbacks... He has won MVP on every combine he has attended this year.

I just dont get why you would say that Crap !!!

I tell you what.... I will treat YOU to a steak at Ruth Chris if you come with me this coming season and if he doesnt impress you.... I'll treat you and ALL your buddies to the same !!!
(that includes Rouge)

WHATCHATHINK !!???

I agree with windows. His sophmore year he did hold onto the ball way to long and to sack after sack, along with throwing a good bit of INTs. However, this last year he made drastic improvements and am convinced he is legit.

He also goes to Catholic where he is coached by Dale Weiner so he is not being groomed to be a passing QB.

Couldn't disagree more. In the past Weiner has ran the ball alot but he does recognize the talent he has with Oliver and I would say Catholic was in a spread formation 65-70% of the time. Ive watched films of some of these other "elite" quarterbacks, and I think Oliver is more NFL ready. Does that mean he will be better than them in college, no. However I think he will be very good, and LSU shouldn't pass him up.
