just alternate it every year, no big deal there

That could be done, but consider LSU's situation.

If LSU loses 3 home games every other season, 3 X 10,000 (paid) X $10 = $300,000 lost revenue every other year. And that doesn't count concessions revenues.

Not gonna' happen....

lsu is only one team. SEC should PLAY each other even with miss st and GA type teams. RPI would be better than playing the long island and centenary's of the world. plus the sec could alternate who plays 18 home sec games each year with you plays 15 sec home games. kinda no brainer for bigger crowds around conference and better RPI for ALL sec teams. maybe this could secure TWO super-regionals EVERY year for the SEC with this type of thought process. it seems that only one or two teams in conference play challenging multiple non-conference games each year. also SEC should kinda nudge teams to play at least every other year (years they have 18 home SEC games) teams with top 30 RPI's on the road for 3 game series. this would enrich the RPI even more (kinda no brainer for RPI at end of year)
if I have not been redundant enought high RPI= high change of super regionals!!
