I'm not a serious gamer. I have MW2 and since my roommate and gf are out of town (not together). I'm about to use a 48 trial. What do I need to know or where do I go in order to not get virtually raped at this game online.

Try team deathmatch or free for all. Camp alot , don't run around like crazy

Just make a marathon/lightweight/commando knife class and run around and knife folks from 5 miles away while getting shot in the chest by a LMG that's what everyone else does.
