People are just pissed because during the game last night (and during many games) he does his job by getting excited about a long fly ball that may go over the fence. When it doesn't, they get pissed at him for it and

If you think the recent job by Hawthorne has been his usual "stuff" then this must be your first year following LSU sports.

His job is to accurately describe the game to those who are unable to see it in person. To that end he is horrible. His calls are wrong and/or incomplete leaving the listener to guess what iss really going on.

Face it. He is terrible!
