thats what i thought. might be good trade bait for haynsworth, since they need o-line. at the very least gives us depth.

Haynesworth would be a beast to have on our team, but he is just too much money imo.


But i honestly think the Saints are going to keep JamalBrown mainly since Jermon Bushrod was a slight weakness guarding Drew Brees's blindside. The last thing the Saints want is having a 'not very great' LeftTackle that lets a DE crush Brees 2-3 times a game.

I just feel that as great as our o-line has been if I were in the FO I wouldn't want anything to disrupt that chemistry and depth. The last thing we need is Brees to go down and dramatically change our season.
Haynesworth is a game changer but we live and die by Brees.

Yep, and I think that it's foolish that so many people are so keen on getting rid of Brown. Yes, Bushrod was servicable last season, but we had to keep a TE or back in to help him too often.

true, but Bushrod will only get better now that he has been exposed to big time games, no need to keep Brown, make a trade and get some valuable defensive help.
