I don't know why you think it's wrong to think we'll be lucky to go 8-4.

We have two games we definitely won't lose: McNeese and ULM
Two games we probably won't lose: Mississippi State and Vanderbilt
Two games we probably won't win: Arkansas and Ole Miss
Two games we definitely won't win: Florida and Alabama

That leaves four games that could go either way. To go 8-4, we must either win all four of those or pull off the surprise in one of the two games against Arkansas and Ole Miss. With the Les Miles post-Alabama collapse now an annual thing, those games look very difficult, so we're basically left having to sweep all four of North Carolina, West Virginia, Tennessee and Auburn. Unlikely. I'm not saying it couldn't possibly happen, but I'm saying we'd be lucky to win all of those four.

what about Ole Miss makes you feel this way? we're at home, McCluster and Snead are gone, is there something about them that I'm missing?

A good analysis. After watching the game on 360, including portions of the first half twice, I think 8-4 with our more challenging schedule and unimproved QB play is about the best we should hope for. Anything more would be a pleasant surprise.

ole miss is prob the least impressive team in the west this year...actually i think they will finish last.
We are winning the first game, i dont care who we are playing we are winning it.
i also disagree with not beating uf and bama. we def have a much better shot at beating uf without tebow. yes last year wasnt the best game, but come on they go for it on 4th down wit tebow to sustain some of those drives and its almost not even fair. Just like we did in 07 with hester.

not sold on tenn either. but look at it this way.... if you did the same thing with everyone's schedule lsu would be listed as tough and as a game you probably wont win and a game that you def wont win. for a lot of those teams.

So, you think we have as good a chance of beating Arkansas and Ole Miss as we do of losing to Mississippi State and Vanderbilt.

Interesting. You need to step back from your hate and give it a fair look.
