there is a problem with the attitude of want. it needs to be it will get done not the fricking want to get it done.

The problem with the word "want" is that it's been used after games so much:
There was a want to run the football.
There was a want to block.
There was a want to call a timeout.

I'd rather hear him use the word "didn't."
We didn't run the football efficiently, but we are working on it.
We didn't block well.
I didn't call a timeout when one needed to be called.

Atleast he would sound like he owned up to the mistakes that were made. "There was a want to do this or that in the game" just gets old after awhile. Just my opinion.

While you may promote that Les is using this lingo as a legitimate - albeit unconventional - usage of the english language, I believe we all agree that it makes him sound like a dufus. It wouldn't be so bad if he didn't periodically do things (Ole Miss) that reinforced the dufus image.

I have a want for him to stop this particular line of stylistic prose.
