Which is why I am hoping an offseason of watching film will finally resonate with JJ. Needs to see how to operate as a QB when you don;t have a decent O line. Colt McCoy did a great job playing behind an average O line and a weak running game. But McCoy has the QB tools, the intangibles that are not measured on paper.

This is what JJ lacks, and hopefully film study and practice will fix it.

Colt McCoy was the running game. He was also a senior. And he also played against juggernaut defenses in the likes of Texas tech and A&M. Terrible comparison.

I have a want to be able to use JJ and progression in the same sentence in a positive way.
