not every QB is equally as bad with a bad o-line...obviously a good O-line helps but good QBs can manage better with bad protection

Look at Texas, their O-line was not that good and they went undefeated until the NC game and scored tons of points

Which is why I am hoping an offseason of watching film will finally resonate with JJ. Needs to see how to operate as a QB when you don;t have a decent O line. Colt McCoy did a great job playing behind an average O line and a weak running game. But McCoy has the QB tools, the intangibles that are not measured on paper.

This is what JJ lacks, and hopefully film study and practice will fix it.
