You said it all in the second sentence...it could have happened to anyone, including me. I lost track to the count myself, and I had nothing else to do but count and enjoy the action. You're right about seeing the coaches and players fired up. Nothing like a little inter-squad competition to get the guys excited.

Admit how many times have you watched this video. I've watched it a good 10 times now. That Les Miles can might make a living out of announcing boxer's names before fights...like that one guy...after his coaching days. He sure gets animated announcing some of the defense...Mingo, Sheppard, Montgomery, Taylor. Hilarious.
Les had some great one-liners through out that vid.
"Cut it off. Cut it off." WTF?
"Be a man. Step into the seat."
"Kiki Mingo. Ooooooooooooo, West Monrooooooooooe."
