i've never understood why people start online dynasties and pick all teams from different conferences and all-star teams.
all my online dynasties we put everybody in the same conference. first was ACC and we gave the worst players florida state, georgia tech, and miami. next dynasty we put 6 custom teams rated C- or worse in the Big East, round robin for the conference championship every year is awesome.

Sgallo we do ours the same way. One league, so teams are off limits and we hold a draft for spot where you pick your team
we did ACC, and Clemson, and FSU were off limits. I picked second overall and chose Maryland. Miami didn't get chosen til about 7 overall because the rest of us wanted a challenge.
I finally dropped out that dynasty after 5 or 6 seasons, but it went for about 10
