Briscoe can do well at McNesse and his brother I think can play very early at receiver. Something I was commenting on earlier, Wes is fast, has great hands, runs good routes (will be great in 2 yrs), and in high school got separation and lots of yards after catch....good grief, he had 43 regular season receptions last year with 16 receiving TD's, which is tremendous. Also, it is cool to have twins in this position. How many balls you think they have thrown together? They should have a sixth sense and my guess is that Wes will be a possession type receiver, maybe in the slot, and a go-to-guy, safety valve often, target for Will. Wes can get deep on seam and wheel routes too, especially with his speed against Safeties and LB's. It will be only natural for his brother to look for him whenever in trouble, etc. Wes is not as thick or strong as Nelson (to Nichols), but faster. They were the two best in the district and fun to watch. If you aren't real big, then catch it and get down over the middle.

Yeah, he was smart not to play basketball. But what a drag, the injury cost him the last two years of basketball. They are class kids and very humble.

If Viator were to replace DF with a QB about as identical, then I think Briscoe is probably it. Same build. Same type QB. Except Briscoe did it on a higher level in 5A and Fourroux did it at Erath. I think that's 2A (correct me if I'm wrong.) This is why I'm excited about Briscoe.

I think he'll redshirt because he'll get pummeled at the weight and build he is right now, but I think he has a bright future.

Same goes for Murray. We lost Todd Pendland and I think Murray can step right into his place. To go along with Champlain Babin (Donaldsonville)

Chris Pourciau (Catholic BR) also walking on to McNeese and will room with the Briscoe's. He's ahead of schedule on re-hab of a knee injury.

Briscoe > Oliver

both are real good QBs I think Oliver is getting a lot more publicity in the recruiting arena because of the reputation of Catholic High football compared to Central's(I mean ALL-TIME, like back to the late 1980s). Zack Oliver is a good QB, id have both on my team if i had one

Don't get me wrong, Oliver is a good qb, just a step behind Briscoe. We'll see though with his senior year coming up.
