I hear you. I was surprised myself. I paid about $90 for my ticket on Monday (the extremely hot one) and I didn't plan on going to another. I kept watching the websites as the game got closer on Wed and tickets kept going down and down until they were basically face value and so I went.
But then again, I tried to go to a midweek game against USC in 2000 and there wasn't a ticket to be had at the stadium.

see, i figured this would be the case for the first four days because the people that are there are going to go to the games. as i'm sure you can attest to, there ain't that much to do up there.
(we did go to Lincoln and took a tour of Neb's facilities. very nice)
