i don't know how it is for games prior to the chanpionship series, but for the three against texas, some of my friends did line up early and ran in for the front row. After the first wave of people the bleachers were about 1/3 to 1/2 full and people trickled in. the next two games virtually no one waited in line.

i guess what i'm trying to say is: you can ge there at any time and get in, but don't expect to walk in at the last min and get the best seat in the outfield...

I don't know about all that. Its chancey. I have been for about 8 years now and some games get sold out. I think the last two games of the Championship series last year was an aberration because the heat kept people away. You are driving all the way from Abilene you want to make sure you can see the game.
