Coleman did, Ott did, Bradshaw could've, he was a decent pitcher, but people on here thought of him as the savior of the baseball program, only because of his football success

Coleman couldnt have pitched the innings that CJ did he was too tired, plus he was liable to get rocked for 6 solo homeruns. Ott couldnt have really pitched much more innings than he did and with him and Bradshaw you can only speculate that they would have allowed 0 runs but you cant say that for sure. CJ was the situational left hander we needed. I am not one of those who think he was the programs savior, but just bc there are a few idiots who think that doesnt make him overrated in general IMO.
Also, i wouldnt say that CJ was a whole lot more successful in football

In case you don't remember Chad Jones was a buzz saw against lefties. This was why he was brought in against Texas and unlike earlier in year he was left in to face the right handers. He was a role player and a damn good one too.
