I am nit saying this is a 100% true, but I heard the guys behind Chevis and Daniels(I think it was him) had their long term CB duties so locked up the guys behind them weren't really putting out as hard as they probably could to challenge them.
If that is true it could be a reason the secondary seemed to underachieve in '08.

Other teams play dirty.Auburn went after Dorsey purposely. He was able to play through and recover. They hurt him on purpose. Could have happended to these guys as well.
