alexander... injuries just sometime cant be avoided. maybe he didnt stretch enough?

woods i think played behind some talent but maybe he never showed the work ethic? sometimes when it looks like a guy is not "coached" up maybe he was lazy and never put forth the effort to get on the field. i am not saying this is the case, but not all the blame should be put on the coaches all the time. maybe the coaches never lit the fire under his butt to make him want to get on the field?

there are tons of reasons that highly rated talent does not produce.

Woods played under Dorsey and Jackson. Had Pelini coaching him when he was young and a year under Chavis.

But yeah, it's Les Miles fault he didn't produce

I am nit saying this is a 100% true, but I heard the guys behind Chevis and Daniels(I think it was him) had their long term CB duties so locked up the guys behind them weren't really putting out as hard as they probably could to challenge them.

If that is true it could be a reason the secondary seemed to underachieve in '08.
