he was a 5 star on rivals and from La. Our coaches are actually great at judging talent. But you don't pass on a 5 star DT from your own backyard.

Alexander in his prime in 2007 was ridiculous. We dominated up until South Carolina with him in the lineup. It was scary the stats we were putting up.........then the wheels fell off. Charles Alexander in his prime could handle his business.

Al Woods never played with a pad level and meanstreak someone needs to play with at 6 4 300+ in the interior. He had moments but never was relentless.

Both made plays in their time that made you say wow he could play in the SEC so this isn't a trend.....

I was always impressed with LSU on 4th down in goaline. We stood tall on many runs this year with those guys in the trenches.

Maybe they didn't want Shurbutt (or what's his name) to keep talking about the one that "got away" in La.
