North Louisiana, esp Shreveport, is mostly Cowboy fans. Today probably more Saint fans...a few months ago LSU.

LSU and it is not even close. Saints just seem big right now because of their recent success. I think more fans follow LSU more and hang their flags outside their homes. Might be more closet saints fans though.

In a couple days, maybe a week you will come back down and face what they call reality.

LSU is Louisiana.

Saints fans and pro fans are all walks of society from homeless to super rich. College fans are mostly alumni, families of students or alumni, and a small percentage of non alums or people who never went to college. It is the south and more people are lsu fans but I think the saints have a slight edge.

LSU. There is a lot of overlap but large portions of the state have tons of Cowboys, Texans, or Titans (old Oilers) fans.

nationwide, definitely LSU. Having lived on both coasts it's damn near impossible to find good Saints groups to watch games with at bars. Meanwhile LSU routinely draws 200+ people to bars for games.

Probably LSU. Most people really started getting into the Saints this year.

LSU hands down. Saints are the talk of the state now, but LSU will rule the roost again in September.

More saints fans by far in LA and the USA, even before this season. And I'll add, they more passionate, which says a lot given LSU's ferocious fanbase

Of course Saints, it's a sad reality fans in the south hate to admit, but the NFL is so much more popular than college football it's not even close. I personally prefer the college game, but that's just the way it is

Don't know about LA, but here in TN, we have no problem getting groups together to watch LSU or Saints games. We'are all both here, and we all pull together.

LSU fans by far. Excitement now surrounding the Saints victory in the Super Bowl but you have a lot of bandwagon fans because they won. Glad they did, but the reality is after the excitement dies down, LSU has a lot more fans. Just compare the venues , Superdome about 72,000 compared to Tiger Stadium close to 100,000. I dont think Saints drew near that much when they used Tiger Stadium during the Katrina year. Certainly not taking anything away from the Saints, just believe there are many more Tiger fans right now. Could change in numbers if we really dont begin to crank it up. and geaux saints

if i had to guess id say it was pretty even. w the saints you have to include miss, ala, and nw florida plus the thousands of ppl that are displaced around the country. also the fans in other countries that root for nfl teams. i cant begin to image the amount of LSU fans...i do kno just on gameday LSU has double the amount of fans just on campus that even fit in the superdome.....so at least i do know its defntly not a large difference or as some say "not even close"..its more like to close to call.
