THAT IS THE TRUTH!!! lsusteve1. You were probably NOT alive when I was in school from 83-88, but if you EVER saw any of those teams you would not have commented about this poster being an idiot. Dale Brown ALWAYS had talent then through when he retired because he could flat-out recruit. Therefore his teams were competitive. Then the SEC was as dominant of a conference as there was.

I know it's not Kentucky or UCLA quality recruiting classes, but Trent's last class is pretty good and will certainly upgrade our current lineup.

Dale never finished better than 5th in the conference his first 5 years at LSU.
