LSU has five defensive linemen on the official roster that are not designated "DT", or "DE", two of which are scholarship players: Josh Downs and J.R. "Ego" Ferguson. That, to me, indicates that he will get looks at both inside and outside, at least at first. His growth and skill set will likely combine to determine his upperclass playing position.
