Have you decided where you are watching the game? Looking to make reservations somewhere for my group, but can't get any info on what's happening where since they can't advertise Super Bowl viewing parties...
Looking for some ideas...

Easier said than done. We don't mind paying somewhere as long as we can sit, see and hear the game...

how is that? there are probably 300 places with tvs showing the game. if you get off of bourbon you'll find a good spot.

This. You just have to get there early.

You think you will have any problem finding a good place? Im trying to decide between winging it like this as well or finding a party to go to.
Right now, I feel like we should just go down there and wing it. If we decide to pay to go to a party, we will be able to find somewhere while we are there instead of making reservations before hand.

You won't have a problem unless you wait until late afternoon.

Just checked it out. Doesn't look like they are doing anything special for the game. Doesn't look like an abundance of TVs either. Thanks though...

i got a room right outside of the quarter for saturday and sunday night....me and my buddies have been trying to decide on somewhere to watch the game...i'm starting to lean towards just watching the game in our room and going out afterward
looking like it is going to be mardi gras style down there for sunday...just don't know if i want to be worried about fighting a crowd in a bar and take the chance of not being comfortable, good view of tvs, hearing the game clearly, etc.

all right, you're from Thib. so I'll explain slowly.
There are tons of bars that are within 2 blocks from Bourbon. These will be less crowded than the clubs on Bourbon. Do you really need to be directly on Bourbon Street? Would just a couple blocks off make that big of a difference.

I used to work at the restaurant down stairs. they dont do shite for special events unless its a private party. the last time I was up there they had like 2 42" tv's.
