Lebron's career is still very young. I think he is steadily closing the gap.

I agree and say that Kobe>Lebron, but they are different players on different teams.
Kobe is a monster, no question about that, but he has more talent around him then anyone else in the league. Gasol, Bynum, Artest, Odom, and Fisher are great teamates imo. All Lebron really has is Shaq, maybe mo, and im drawing a blank after that.
Without Lebron, you have a Cavs team that would have a BAD losing record.
Without Kobe, you would have a Lakers team that would compete and sill probably go to the playoffs.
