I was just thinking about how much it would suck if Diego held a presser to announce he was retiring because he caught the aids.

Dana said that is one of most messed fighters he has ever seen.

When you are the president of a Cage Fighting organization...I think that speaks volumes.

St Pierre and Anderson Silva need to throw down. Is that 109?

GSP is scared.

"Uh you know...uh...I walk around at 185...and uhh...it's very unhealthy to cut a lot of weight...uhhh so...you know...I don't know..."

Aren't you the poster who is familiar with sleep medicine? I'm taking the exam to be a RPSGT in June. Any advice on studying/test taking? If you even know anything about it.

Where did you take your prep? I went to Atlanta Sleep School of Medicine and crushed it. Tried my first time blind and failed by 2 points. After going to Atlanta though, it was easy. There are so many questions and tests can be completely different so it's hard to say what to concentrate on honestly. Make sure to know your EKG definitions and concentrate on scoring. Also learn your formulas for SVD and high/low filters. If you concentrate on that you should pass.

Honestly it's a lot easier now. It had a 24% pass rate when I took it. It was like taking the ACT. Now it's all on computer and the pass rate is in the 60's. Good luck and I'm always looking for another RPSGT.

Right now I'm working online on the A-steps modules. As soon as I finish these and I have 18 months OJT I'm eligible to sit for the exam. I've got some material from other techs and various other sources floating around the office. Also our technical director pointed me to Sleep Medicine Pearls by Richard B. Berry.

Everybody freaks out about the exam, but I remember taking a practice test my first week just to see how I would do. I got a whole hell of a lot more right than I thought I would.

I've got a pretty good gig where I'm at right now, but where is your office?

We run 4 beds, Tuesday-Thursday. Get 40 hours in 3 days and have a 4 day weekend every week.

Yeah there is another stipulation to it though if I recall. Have to take a class or something. Either way I'd just assume have the extra time to prepare.

Too far to commute from Covington, but you never know. Thanks for the heads up.

2 techs, 2-1 ratio. We've been accredited since 2001. I came back to be the director, but due to a shortage of RPSGTs I have to work 2 of the nights. Since I have to be there, we have 2-78 cable, HBO, DVD, and PS3.

Nice. We're in the process of getting accredited right now. Just had the site inspection, and we are just waiting now. Any idea how long it takes to get the final approval?

Dr. Thompson who does the site visits for the AASM is my medical director. He's the one who taught me everything I know. Since he's so high up, I would assume ours would be back pretty fast. Not sure about others though.

Yeah we are anxious to get it back asap, because we cant do BCBS pts without the accredidation. We lost a big slice of our pie when that happened. Apparently all the insurance carriers are starting to move that way.

Big time changes coming soon. I'm just glad I'm grandfathered in and can get registered without having to go back to school. :whew:

Urijah is their Golden Boy. Hell every time he fights they have it in his hometown.

Brown's also a pretty boring wrestler without near the name recognition who nearly got finished by Urijah with 2 broken hands. They're making this fight their first PPV for WEC.
