this class is a bit of a disappointment, no doubt, combined w/ last two seasons. Only bright spot is Wilson's recruiting of next year's class, but even then LSU is getting out recruited for Rasco. So I see what you're sayin.

California
Virginia
Texas fan from day 1

Go look around the country and the recruits switching closer to signing day to be closer to home. Because the coaching sucked this past year, everyone wants to say that's the one and only reason that recruits are leaving. It's a tired excuse now. Look at the rant.....it's STILL full of people crying over the coaching staff. Get the frick over it. Nothing is changing and it's time to move forward.

None of those three recruits surprised me when they switched. As much as we want to say that LSU is a national recruiting power, it's just not the case. Sure, they'll pull in a few here and there from the eastern seaboard or midwest, but how often? Not very.

Every bit of this debbie downer shite that people continue to post is because they are bitter of the coaching staff. Every post is based off this past year. Try to look a little deeper into whats going on. Try to think outside of the box. Recruiting is ALOT more than just X's and O'x.

Well, IF they start bitching about how hard it is to be a fan 2 years after winning the Super Bowl, I'll at least look askance at them.

Staying in the top 10 for recruiting is a little disappointing?

FWIW, Kristian has responded back twice to my email, changed the headline, and has yet to refute any of my claims that he has no source and he's just trying to get a scoop on everybody by guessing at what most people believe to be true anyway.

i know what he means because I question a couple of these guys as well. The class is decent, but it's not what LSU is used to lately.

If LSU is successful next year and Mile is still around then, next year's class is going to be ridiculous. I think that can go without being said.

not filling need positions w/ many of your top targets is disappointing. Top 10 ranking is still only good enough for 4th or 5th in the SEC. It's just like the ppl that argue this season was not a let down.

The argument has been back and forth ad nauseum. I get the argument. I get it. I'm on top of the fence right now. I just don't think these past two teams have had enough of a QB to have a chance to be successful. Regardless of his numbers, JJ was mediocre. Mediocre QB's usually = mediocre teams.

I'll leave it at that because I'm not getting into the same nick picking back and forth. I know what you're talking about, yes.

God it would make my day if Lache stuck it to the sports writers and chose LSU. I'm crossing my fingers, but not getting my hope too high.

i'm still withholding judgment.

most expected this class to be a little down. we got off to a quick start but everyone knew other teams would catch us as the year wore on.

it hurts losing what we've lost, but if we can land a few guys here and there it may not be too shabby.
