added a couple low-ranked players... lost a DE to Baylor, lost another defensive commit to Okie Lite.

LSU is trying to take a WR from him ;)
..and like LSU, he's trying to steal a few from the Aggies late ;)

I think he's put a good staff together and held a lot of the class together, considering the change.

From what I have heard is that they wanted Tubby to keep some of the offensive staff from Mike's staff but Tubby did do that, insted he got all new staff and starting over. They have also lost some of the recruits that they committed for the old style from Mike but Tubby wanted it to be all new, his way or else. That's Tommy Tubberville for you, stubborn.

Stubborn but still a damn good coach. It will be weird watching texas tech qb's under center and seeing them run it out of the i.

He has done well so far given the time he's had to work with.

We cut bait with 4 players as they aren't going to fit Tuberville's new scheme.

We lost an OL to Ok ST (double signer to Navarro JC - grade risk anyways).

But, we are keeping Boone

can't blame a coach for wanting to bring in his own people.

he hired Neal Brown from Troy as his OC; Brown runs a pretty high tempo, no huddle, pass oriented offense. I'm sure they will run more than with ML but Tommy has said he is committed to keeping the air raid attack TTU is know for and the hiring of Brown suggests he means it.
