So do Miles 1st three years not count?

Does his national title not count?

And I don't want to hear how it was Saban's recruits, that is the stupidest argument one could make unless you want to say Saban is only because of Shula's recruits and Myer only won with zook's.

I think there's a pretty good reason for why the last two years were what they were.

My expectation is that our D@mn fine football coach will return to the form and standard he established in his first three years and I believe we will be back on the top of the mountain.

HOWEVER, if we run Miles off because 8,9,10 win seasons just aren't good enough then don't be surprised if we return to the 90's all over again.

Some people think it's just so easy, ‘why didn't the coach do this or that’, ‘I would have done it this way or that way’, ‘why did he call that play or this one’ when in reality they haven't a clue!

Les Miles is one of the most respected coaches in the country, outside of the delusional element within our own fan base.

If you can't embrace the Hat and what he has meant to LSU then I doubt you'll ever appreciate any coach that wears the purple and gold.

Sure, he has continued to plunge further down each year...so absolutely, they count.

Backing into that national championship was an absolute indicator of the things that have transpired since.

Granted, but where did they take that talent base and where has Miles taken similar talent base? That is not a very good argument if you think through it a bit. It really makes Miles look more incompetent with his colleagues (?) in the league.

Based on what?

Sure, I am in another line of work, but I do know the difference between blind luck and the results for a competent individual/organization...starting with coming to a school with a table set as he did.

You can not quantify this statement any more than anyone can the opposite, but he does get more than his share of ridicule from the national press when he stumbles and bumbles through the most simple requests for info about the team.

You are delusional if you think Miles is a respected coach.
