Bleacher Report

I think LSU will have another top 10 class this year and a very successful year in 2010, possibly another National Championship.

I have said this as well, I am thinking a 10 win season or better for LSU next year. I am just hoping one of your losses comes to Auburn. Fear the Spike!

Damn Positigers! Why can't they just let the Negatigers dwell in their misery instead of trying to give them something positive to think about.

This was not a bad article. Some good points were made. My issue has to do with expectations. I believe Miles is an OK coach. I just don't see how anyone can say he is a Saban or Meyer caliber of a coach. That is ridiculous especially since Saban just went undefeated in 2 regular seasons of the SEC. How many coaches in the country could coach LSU and get Les Miles results? In my opinion (after we went 1-8 versus top 25 teams in the last 2 years) there are a good number of coaches. If you are satisfied with winning 8 or 9 games a year Les will give you this all day long. He has proven he can beat bad and average teams. We lost the SEC by 5 and 3 games the last two years and were very lucky to have won 8 games in that stretch the way we played. Miles worshipers say we are going to win 10 plus games and win the National Champ. Miles haters say 6-6. What I am saying is Miles is going to stay somewhere in the middle. What fans have to decide is do we take a chance or cling comfortably to winning 8-9 games a year. Are we satisfied with fighting for 2nd in the West. Why does it have to be black or white all the time? I think we finish next year somewhere in the middle with the team playing like the #3 through #6 SEC team.

However, if you are concerned that the handful of loud and passionate, yet misguided fans on the Blogosphere are right and Les Miles has changed, then don’t fear the Hat.

so true.....

LSU had two of the best coordinators—Bo Pelini and Gary Crowton—working under Miles,

And I am suppose to take this article seriously after that quote? 110 teams had better offenses then us, of which 100+ had less talent, and we are going to pretend our co-ordinator is one of the best? Seriously now.

No one in CFB fears Les Miles, I hate to burst your bubble. In fact, they may relish the thought of going up against him. You might could make the argument that there is some fear of LSU as a program, because of all the athletes, but most certainly there is no fear of Les Miles.

I fear the Hat during every game.

Bleacher Report is tripe written by fans. It has zero credibility.

Not what I saw. The OLine did suck though, but JJ did not develop one iota during the year, and arguably regressed. Something really big is going to have to click in his play, otherwise we will continue to be anemic on offense.
