I don't see any updated 2010 draft projections having Tigers going in the first round. This will be the first year in how many years that we don't have someone drafted to the NFL in the first round?

It just kind of seems that we had a lot of streaks come to an end this year.

There's a very good chance that one of either LaFell or Jones will end up being taken at the end of the 1st round.

With Berry being Top 5 and Mays being Top 10, the jury is probably out on if Jones or Burnett (from GT) will be the next safety off the board. Teams like Indy and Baltimore will be looking to shore up their aging safety positions (I'm assuming both teams have first round picks).

How could this be? With good coaching we would have been undefeated.

The combine will tell. Lafell has the best shot now provided he runs flat out and gets a good eval. Black may have worked himself out of the first 2 rounds. Chad Jones is actually the 5th rated safety according to McShay so a good combine could help him as well.

Overall I agree, it's looking bleak as far as 1st round picks go.

Still a long way to draft day. I believe Lafell could yet slip into the first round with an impressive combine and draft day, much like Buster Davis did.

LaFell and Jones have a shot, Black is a late round pick.
