Just found out that West Monroe OL Dillon Day was offered today by Mississippi State and he will likely commit this weekend when he takes his official visit to Starkville.

I have heard that State is looking at moving him to Center or Guard. He would have received his offer sooner if it werent for some bad grades that he had made that he has since improved.

That's probably a good offense for him to fit into.

I think Mississippi State was pretty diligent on making sure he was working on his grades before they gave him an offer.

Im hoping Dillon is as good as you guys on here bill him up to be. He looks like an absoulute beast on his highlight film. I cant wait to see him in Maroon and White.

LSU fans will curse his name for 3-4 years when he dominates.

Dominated the best of the best in class 5A all year long.

He's the best lineman in the state just has some issues in the classroom.

BTW: this thread title is WRONG. He wasnt offerred. Just had an in-home visit.

According to my sources, he was given an informal offer based on improving his grades. The coaches will continue to monitor his grades until signing day. He is visiting Mississippi State this weekend, and according to my sources again, will be given a formal offer and is expected to commit after meeting with coach Mullen this weekend.

I may be wrong, but all signs are pointing towards him committing and signing with the bulldogs in 2 weeks.
