he is a big man and a big back. i feel with either team the saints had to play, both have an excellent pass rusher. when deuce played he was good at picking up blitz even if it was just chipping them.
he feels he can still play so use him if necessary.

The problem is he's too big and out of football shape to do any of that

The Saints signed him just to acknowledge his contribution. They have absolutely no intention of actually putting in a game. He was winded just running onto the field yesterday.
