2010 running game: Your thoughts?

In 2009 we finished 11th in the SEC in rushing with 123 yards a game, 3.7 YPC. I figure we'll do better in 2010 (we have almost nowhere to go but up), but I'm not confident we'll finish in the upper half of the conference. Shep should help spike the numbers, but Ridley and Murphy are still question marks to me ... and even if Ford is a horse I don't have great confidence in our coaching staff to maximize his ability. Our o-line is another question mark.
How do you think the Tigers' running game will fare in 2010?

None of that shite matters if the o-line doesn't get better. We could have Herschel Walker back there and he'd average 1.4yds a carry.

Our running game is only as good as our O-Line allows it to be. No doubt we have talented running backs, but we need talented lineman to block for them.

Rushing Stats
If you really look at it all our backs averaged pretty good on the season, Keiland at 5.3, Scott at 4.7, Ridley at 4.0, Shep at 6.2. The problem goes to JJ and his 1.5. Sacks are calculated in the rushing yards, so to finish in the top half of the sec we will have to cut back on Sacks and quit running designed running plays for JJ, we have better playmakers across the offense and they should be used more effectively, just my opinion though

Everyone will be witnesses and Murphy is gonna unleash 4 years worth of built up frustration on every opponent we face.

wouldn't be the case if not for our oline this year....think we will be fine with all of our backs as long as the line comes around
