2)Russell Shepard-instead of accusing our staff of not wanting to win football games, maybe you should ponder WHY RUSSELL SHEPPARD wasn't what he was billed to be. only the coaches saw him at practice and you have to give them the benefit of the doubt regarding his ability to help the team at present. i was not that impresses with him, BUT hershel walker couldn't have run the ball behind our OL. just because a guy tore it up in high school doesn't automatically translate to college. i think he will be much more effective if and when we fix our blocking problems.

which still doesn't explain why Miles wasted a year of eligibility for this player.

and if I hear one ranter say that Shepard won't be around for his senior season anyway, I'm going to puke.

Plain and simple:

This coach will be fired next year, so go ahead and do it now.
This team was an utter disaster to watch, therefore making it not as much fun to watch.
We have more talent that doesn't perform the way it should, therefore making it not as much fun to watch.

If you Miles defenders really want to pin it on an inexperienced QB, new coaches etc. look at what our ex coach did with Bama in just three years. Miles should just be a victim of circumstance and be let go so ALL of the right decisions can be made.

Get a frickin clue, you all apear to be just as clueless as Miles, on a 2 minute drill.

dstone I agree with you...and to the Bozo who doesn't think R. Shepard could have run behind that line you are a dumb arse. The kid was effective everytime he was given the chance...to the tune of like 6 point something yards per carry. Of course people are pissed when we see a kid as effective as Shep sitting on the sideline. We aren't basing this off of his recruiting rank, rather his production on the field when he did have a chance. We don't have another player on our roster who is one step from taking one the distance everytime he touches the ball. Plain and simple he should have at least been given a chance in the mud mickey mouse bowl. And if you defend Miles on any grounds other than the fact that he is a genuinely good family man...you simply don't know football.
