I liked "V for Vendetta" as well, although I think many people are confused regarding it's political message.
There are some movies that I don't agree with politically that I enjoy watching. My biggest problem with political movies, though, isn't the message behind it but rather how the director often focuses so much on the political message that the actual story suffers.

Pretty much why I don't like them irregardless of whether or not I agree with them politically. For instance with a movie I pretty much march lock step with politically, Blood Diamond could have been a great movie but they were so concerned with showing that conflict diamonds and child soldiers are bad (no fricking shite) that what was an interesting setting and actually fairly entertaining plot were bogged down with unnecessary montages and an unsatisfying ending outside of Sierra Leone.
