As much as I love Star Wars, I'm not really shocked considering no Science Fiction movie has ever won a Best Picture Oscar. Not one.

This is odd considering your comment is in response to a poster also complaining about a Jewish Director (Spielberg) getting robbed. In addition to Private Ryan, a Holocaust movie (Life is Beautiful) lost that exact same year to a movie from a British Director, so that makes no sense.
