It was definitely better than Path of Daggers, Crossroads of Twilight, and Winter's Heart (which could have all been condensed into one book. Maybe half a book) I thought it was still one of the weakest in the series. But then again I've only read it once. Perhaps it deserves a re-read.
Might have just been that a retard could write a better book than Crossroads of Twilight
Also at Sanderson breaking the final book up into 3 books are Jordan said he would finish it in one.

Well Jordan said he would finish it in one even if it took him 2000 pages.
So even he knew it would be a monstrously large final book. He also is on record as stating all the loose ends would not necessarily be wrapped up while Sanderson wants to try and wrap everything up.
The problem with these books is that even in the last book, new people and plots are hatched.
With all the characters and plots, I have a tough time remembering what the heck was going on when the story left off.
I used to reread all of the books when a new one came out, but now we are over 8k pages from start to finish so that is out.
I'm going to have to find a plot summary site before starting this one.
I can't remember a single thing about the last book so I might re-read that one before starting the new one.
