I supported Brady but couldn't understand going in the ditch the last two years... ala Jerry Dinardo, he couldn't get out. I was 50-50 on whether to give him another year.

Trent has proven he can coach talent.. the question is, can he recruit enough of it. The answer begins next year with this incoming class.

It had become in the best interest of Brady and LSU to part ways.

Agreed. He has recruited some talented players , but no super star top 25 type player yet. History has shown that LSU has had it's most successful seasons when there was a big time player leading the way. Right now the recruiting appears to be Vanderbilt south, not bad but not enough to reach the upper echelon.
