he was diagnosed by the team physician with a mild concusion.

even the kid's doctor said what leach did was the right thing to do.
:boom:
leach will come out of this smelling like a rose
TTech tried to screw him, but they weren't smart about it and tried to use james' kid as the dynamite.

well that was trainers out there that was watching out for him. Here's
Interesting....I did not see anyone in the room if legit video.
Also, many trainers...was the trainer obeserving him certified by the NATA? was it the Strength Coach watching him?
If any trainer was observing him, it should had been the head guy.
My guess, it was a studnet trainer who was not certified watching him or checking up on him...
if this is the case, leach may be screwed on this.

Like to have clarification of the physician that diagnosed him with the concussion.
Also, if the team physician said what Leach did was ok and did not diagnosed him...he maybe "F"ed...because the pyhsician that diagnosed him probably has the fianl say.
Either way, the situation is messed up...Leach is over the kid...granted, the kid is an adult, but Leach is responsible for the kids safety.

bullshite
it wasn't like he was in the ICU
they put him in a dark room
if anything, that cellphone video is going to be the damning evidence against james.

Come on DOC.
You ever work with athletics and dealt with injuries?
Trust me....Leach was in the wrong...like I said, the kid should have been with the medical staff/and certified athletic trainers....that is where Leach "F"ed up.
It is all about the kids safety...and Leach used poor judgement.

true

Can make a room dark in the training room...he placed the kid in a concrete closet with an electrical box buzzing.

Actaully, it shows James was telling exactly the room he was placed in...also shows Leach's account through his lawyer has holes.

now i am convinced you don't actually read what has been posted or reported.
the TEAM physician did not say that. adam james physician said it.

sure, then what happens with the other player that come in and out. do they have to do everything in the dark?

The problem is, he was diagnosed by the team physician with a mild concusion.
It was not the team physician. It was James' private doctor. When Leach asked James to see the team physician to confirm the diagnosis, James refused.

exactly...why would a player get a private doctor using his own $$$?

Certified Athletic trainer...they are trained over years how to deal with athletes with injuries that James have suffered.

You been in a major D1 athletic trainer room latley...no, not your high school training room with the ratty taping table.
It is amazing how many treatment rooms they have in these facilities here they can place an athlete in a dark room without anyone walking in and out of the room.

Yep...amybe...but I am not like DOC who is only a field medic who knows nothing about how the inner working of football medical staff that deals with players like James (I may know somethings about athletic injuries).
Trust me, a lawyer will crush Leach with somethings on this...as well as Leach with the administartion witch hunt after him.
But, leach did "F" up with dealing with a players injury....a player that was diagnosed with the injury...the key word...diagnosed.

I've never dealt with concussions before.

My point is that the real reason they wanted to fire Leach is because he wouldn't apologize when they asked him to. Then they trumped up the incident with James to give them an excuse/cause to get rid of him.
The apology they wanted him to sign used specific language from Leach's contract that would have given them the ability to fire him for-cause on the spot.
This was a setup for the school to break their deal with him. E-mails obtained via FOIA regarding the school's negotiations with him over the past year include specific comments by a top booster saying that Leach's new contract should contain language allowing the school an easy out because he hadn't been loyal enough in their opinion.
quote:
The first e-mail among this group, dated one year before Leach's firing, shows Sowell recommending to Hance and Myers that Tech should stand firm in its negotiations with the coach.
“You should sign a contract that would not cost us too much to fire him,” Sowell wrote. “He has to have a big buyout. He has shown no loyalty.”

Because that private doctor might have the players best interest at heart more so than a doctor paid for by the university.
