Yes, they would. Considering hes not in the same mold as LS, isn't qualified right now and can count to last year's class. Blue also might be moved to LB. So in reality...they're probably telling LS we only have 2 RB commits right now.

I don't think Blue has anything to do with it...its Gore that tipped us off that the staff knew LS wasn't going here as of now.

I agree that Gore was the final straw in the LS sweepstakes. FWIW, I feel certain that Blue has no desire/intention or thoughts of being moved anywhere. Now, they may be telling LS something different and willing to see Blue walk if LS signs but, logically, you have to assume at this point that the coaches do not KNOW that LS is going to sign with LSU.

Yeah, but the bump was less about the SI intel, and more about congratulating Lache, Born, and Jen. I, for one, respect the way they handled it, and hope to represent a portion of LSU fans who isnt bashing LACHE right now for making his decision that plays an important role in the rest of his life. I just want to let them know to shake the haters, and that we do have classy fans. I'm an alum, and as far as I'm concerned my opinion counts for about the same 100 ignorant fans who did not graduate from LSU.

ETA: not that all who did not graduate from LSU are ignorant. I'm referring to those bashing Lache, and partaking in ignorant banter

Exactly. Lache made a life changing decision. He had to make himself happy first. Good luck to him.

Lache at LSU..is like a Mt Cody 1st and 2nd down DL at Bama..a situational down player in the SEC..and not a inside-the-Tackles SEC RB.

At Oregon, he can knife apart those finesse Ds, and play most the whole game.

Good for Lache.

Agreed, Ive said all along if not here, then I would prefer him at Oregon. He has a great chance to really thrive in their system. At first, I would have been happy to see him against Carrol's USC every year, and now not much has changed. Ill be just as happy cheering for him against Kiffin over there.

Hey guys Leche chose the Ducks a little while ago. He chose The Ducks over USC where he was going to go, but Pete left now he is a Duck. He just thinks the Ducks offense fits his style better. He might have to wait his turn but he could do great things in that Offense plus the lack of defense the PAC has is a no brainer. Thanks for all the kind words toward Lache and I hope ya'll have become fans of Lache for life. We can still look forward to Lache becoming a New Orleans Saint in a few years.

Thanks for dropping subtle hints here and there, but still not being direct enough to steal Lache's thunder. Love your attitude, and appreciate you representing LSU's fan base well. Happy the way things turned out because I would have pulled for Lache to do well at USC, but not the team. Now I can pull for both, as Oregon is one of my favorite Pac-10 teams.

I really do appreciate this. It has taken me a while to "understand" the love of the fans and their school. My husband had to explain it to me, and I completely understand. I know there will be some negative things said about Lache's choice- understandable. Lache has made the best choice for him. He has never said one bad thing about LSU and still loves the school- he just felt this was the best move for him. Everyone knows that we are UT fans and I have made a number of friendships with a lot of you on this board and I respect you and your love for LSU.

I could not say anything last night, because this is Lache's time- not ours.

This may not mean much to you but, it is the truth and this is the only board that I look at or respond to.
