What link are you looking at? Rivals has him at 237 lbs and 6'4 is pushing it. I love how you post some of the measureables of OL who are no names lol.

He is up to 270 and the roster I posted are of players on LSU's team that are near the same size or smaller than Dillon Day. Size has nothing to do with it. It amazes me how some think they are an expert on these things.

Explain to me how I'm suppose to know the kid is supposedly up from 234 to 270? I'm not in WM so I go off what rivals and scout says. I wasn't bashing the kid either, his video is very good and I was joking about TE. Yall are too damn uptight and defensive.

No expert here . I just found it funny that you thought it was relevant to post the measurables of some kids that will never ever see the field. It doesn't matter that Alex Bonnette is 5'11 211 because he will never play. Like I said before, I thought the kid was in the 230-240 range when I made those comments.

I cannot for the life of me figure out why Day is not getting more offers. In 2 years he should be in 290# range. I have been defending him on here, hoping LSU would offer. He must have serious attitude or grade problems, i dont know.

This. He's probably the best football player on WM's team.

It's on the video.

He is almost the same size as Lyle Hitt now. That's why I don't think his size is relavent. I'm not being defensive...just didn't think the size thing matters.

another thing to consider might be upside... I do not know that this is or even might be the case, but it is not uncommon for a kid from West Monroe or John Curtis to have been maxed out in high school due to great coaching and weight training. Meaning they were great for their high school teams but have a very low ceiling for further development

I wasnt being defensive when I replied to your comments about TE. I just stated he will probably play guard at the next level.

And to the Tech fan: Dillon will more than likely end up at Tech. HE likes them alot ,but he really wants an MSU offer. He is realistic and knows he will play more at Tech so thats why he is strongly considering them.

And when he weighed in at 234 that was from Febuary of last year. At the Army All-American combine. 10 months ago.

Two-star offensive guard Dillon Day is quickly climbing the wish list for Mississippi State.

The 6-foot-4, 270-pounder from West Monroe, La., has been in contact with the Bulldog coaching staff for quite sometime now and could be on the verge of landing an official offer very soon.

From Rivals

He gained 35 lbs in one summer without growing any taller? That's a lot of weight to put on.

I haven't seen anything on him, and know nothing about him, but if his only offers are from ULM and LaTech, he's either not as good as y'all think he is, or has some serious issues. Otherwise he would have been considered by somebody.

Does he know that Tech stomped MSU's @ss in 2008?

that kid is not 270. if he becomes 270-290 he might not be as good. he is quick and athletic, but not everyone can be as athletic with an extra 40-50 lbs added on.

he looks like an amazing athlete and an amazing player. i like the TE comments.

Yes he is. Do you not think Jordan Allen is 270 either? Day is thicker than Jordan and Allen is listed at 270 as well. They are all muscle and tall so it doesn't look like they are that heavy, but they are.

how do you know this? u seen him on a scale? i dont mean to be sarcastic, but if that guy is 270 and as good as he is, he would have lots and lots of D1 offers.

that kid is a mauling beast. but a 230lb mauling beast.

Wm doesnt "fix" the weights on their roster. Never have. He weighed 270 at WM at the end of the summer.

He has character issues but is still an animal.

He has his grades in order also. He scored a 19 or 20 on his ACT so that makes him eligible for most all SEC schools.

Believe me SEC coaches know about him. Les Miles and Coach STud came to one of WM's games this season to talk with Dillon during school that day.
