To be a "real" Saints fan and better than others, you must:

1. Never be critical or negative (even after the 13 win Saints lost to a 12 loss team at home).
2. Ignore obvious faults in the play of the team
3. Assume everything will be fine with the team.
4. And you must be happly with a 13-4 season after losing 4 straight to end the season (courtesy of Norteasttiger).
5. You must have been posting about the Saints on td.com for several years now.
6. Call others who break any of the above "bandwagon" fans.
"The saints played great today. We are well on our way to the Super Bowl". There I said it. I am a Saints fan and better than you. If you make a critical comment, you ain't a real Saints fan and not as good as me.

Nice one. We do suck right now and we've played some horrible games but the 1 and done in the playoff thing is starting to piss me off. Have the playoffs even started yet?

im not negative i just think we need to get another kicker for insurance. We are playing to not get hurt but people don't see it i see it. Why play your hardest and get hurt if you already got things locked up but homefield. We still playing the starters because you dont want to get completly out of rythem but their still not really trying their hardest either. I think our defense will shock people in the playoffs and come alive.

No to be a fan of a team you can acknowladge things like the d needs to tighten up but a fan believes they will. You dont base your opinion off 2 games in a 16 game season. You acknowladge that they can play with and beat anyone they just gotta eliminates some mistakes. Otherwise your just a miserable negativity spreader.

Tangerine, how dare you call out those calling out realistic fans.
Our defense has been BAD. Our offense has been mediocre, and special teams just shat the bed and this has been going on for almost half the season, yet we are bandwagon fans if we point that out.
