But he wasn't exactly taking over talent-less teams here. At LSU, he inherited players like Josh Reed and Rohan Davey. At Alabama, he inherited Andre Smith and Javier Arenas.

I don't think you can compare what June Jones is doing to what Saban has done. June Jones is literally rebuilding programs from the ground up.

Saban finds underachieving programs with tons of potential and helps them realize that potential.

Jones is a freakin miracle worker.

I do agree though that what Jones with some of these schools is more impressive to a degree. Michigan St, LSU and Alabama are schools that shouldnt have needed rebuilding. Hawaii and SMU are very different stories.

Look at where SMU has been the last 20 years. They may not be all the way back, but it will not be long.
