Unlike everyone else on the thread I usually go with more instead of less. The egg is for bonding and I like the crumbs for absorbing the taste of whatever else I put in there, which is usually different. Lately I have been trying something different off the food network website for burgers and they've all been good. If you wanna get real creative take a look at this one. I did this a few weeks ago. i like to add some chipotle seasoning, and a fresh avocado on top to finish

this is in addition to the standard salt, pepper, onion

FWIW, eggs and breadcrumbs are for people that don't know WTF they're doing with a hamburger. Not busting YOUR balls, just saying.

As for that link. That's entirely too much shite to call that a burger. That's a damn indigestion patty.

That recipie calls for ground chicken. Where do you guys find ground chicken at around Baton Rouge? I've tried several places to no avail.
