Usually just salt and pepper, maybe a little worchester or some Tony's.
For those who add stuff like breadcrumbs/eggs, what is the benefit of this? Wouldn't it just like a grilled meatloaf patty?

Unlike everyone else on the thread I usually go with more instead of less. The egg is for bonding and I like the crumbs for absorbing the taste of whatever else I put in there, which is usually different. Lately I have been trying something different off the food network website for burgers and they've all been good. If you wanna get real creative take a look at this one. I did this a few weeks ago.
