Just found out I have tickets to the Capital One bowl and I was wondering where to stay and what hotels if any were still available...

I know this has probably been discussed but I didn't want to search through pages of posts.

Thanks for the help

Stay at a Time share.
A guy named Vinny steals three hours of your life.
And you get to demean him for free.
It's awesome !

Seriously, go to tripadvisor.com, put in Orando and the dates and read some reviews.

Depending on the amount of nights and the size of your party, if you spend an hour researching, you can find a HUGE bargain right now.

Try Sky Hotels and Resorts. They got a couple near I-Drive and they're hurting for business. You might be able to get an extra good deal from them. Google 'em and give 'em a call.

If you can afford to pay a little extra, stay downtown. You'll be a couple of miles and 5 minutes from the stadium, and within walking distance to the nightlife from your hotel.

If you're looking to go the cheaper route, a hotel near the airport on Semoran would probably be best if you're flying in.

If you're driving in, International Drive has hotels as well.

I live in florida, stay at the Floridays resort on floridays resort drive off of international drive. It is a new condo resort for $125 a night. $125 a night is for a 3 bedroom two bath condo, with kitchen, stove, washer and dryer. upper class living at its best!

I live in Orlando. The stadium is in the hood. Only Vegas has more hotel rooms or rental cars in it that O=Town. Look for discounts try Priceline, Orbits. Hotel websites etc. you may find discounts. If you do drive or rent a car, they have free parking and shuttles from the Arena to the stadium. That provides safe, parking.

That sounds depressing.
Don't come all the way to Orlando and stay on Semoran.

I really recommend not staying at the airport or downtown. Stay at Universal, I drive or at Disney. It is well worth the money.

Ilive here. I know what I'm talking about. I will be happy to give my opinion of an yspecific place if you wish.

Sheraton or courtyard marriot on magnolia and colonial are good. They are close, but not too close too the stadium.

Booked a $65/N rate @ Best Western Gateway near Wet n Wild; Is this a real dive and would need a car in this area?

I love the Wyndham, many fond memories partying with the tourist girls in the summers back in the day. I drive by there almost every day on the way to work.

Question

"Booked a $65/N rate @ Best Western Gateway near Wet n Wild; Is this a real dive and would need a car in this area? "

Answer

Hell yea...cabs will cost you about $50 to get to the stadium and while there are things in that area to walk to...it will suck...and for the price you will pay in cab fare you might as well have a rental car...

Area is ok...not a dive...
