And Russell didn't make a TON of mistakes? whew! C'mon man... Mauck was a "great" Lsu qb! U guys grab at straws man!

Pisces, do you see any paralles with Mauck and Craig Krenzel of OSU when they beat Miami for the ship. Neither were great but they both won the ship. With the talent we recuit, a game manager is what we need, and that includes not taking sacks that negate field goal position (ole miss)

sure he did, but he didn't throw an INT in 8 games in 2006, completed 68% of his passes and lead the BCS in passing efficiency without having a good running game. He beat #3 and #8 team on the road in 2006 and the #3 team in 2005 (when is the last time LSU beat a top 5 team on the road before JR?)
