I give Les till end of 2011, next year seems like a trasitional year with the talent leaving, schedule, and possible coaching changes. LSU could finish 7-5 and 9-3 again it seems. 2011 with us barely losing anyone from previous year (Jones, Barksdale, Murphy, Nevis, TT, Helton, Hicks, Levingstone would be only seniors) we should make a run at SECCG.

Realistically next year will be a 4 or 5 loss year, with the talent LSU is losing and all other things being equal, which I assume they will.

I agree completely, only thing is a 4/5 loss season next year and LSU does not get benefit of the doubt anymore. LSU fans are impatient and while I know thing will not go back to Hallman era LSU records being 9-4 is a tough pill for some to swallow.

I do not want to settle for mediocrity but Les has at least earned the right to attempt to fix the things that are messed up. By end of 2011 we will have seen 4 years of Les Miles recruits and we can better evaluate him as a head coach. He might just be on par with Houston Nutt in that he will give you a consistent 7/8 wins a year. And LSU fans want a Meyer/Saban/Stoops/Tressel where we are winning 10+ games a year and challenging for SEC every year.
