There are more bandwagon UT fans here in Texas than any other team I know of. Because Texas the state has a very high imigration rate from all other states in the country. If your a true Bama fan your from Alabama. There's not to many people that have to move to Alabama or want to. So for that being said I want both of them to loose. Because UT has played nothing but cupcakes this year and they need a wake up call. But as a LSU fan I can't pull for the gumps.

I could never pull for Bama, AU or Ole Miss against anyone. Well I might take AU against Satan... But that would be tough.

Oh I'm not pulling for Texas. I just can not pull for Bama. If Florida was playing them I would pull for Florida. But its a mute point any way Texas is going to get there asses handed to them.

I hear you, but I'm just an SEC guy and I live in Louisiana. So, its LSU and SEC all the way for me.
I really have no ill feeling toward Nick, Bama, Fla, Ga or any of the SEC teams. Fla and Bama were better than us this yr...that happens. I give them my congrats and wish them well in the bowls, but I understand others feel differently.

Helps the SEC continue to get to the big game each year if they keep winning it, but I am putting up the SEC hat for a while and putting on the Stanky BEVO!!!!(even though Texas looked bad the last couple weeks, how are they gonna stop bama?)

Not exactly a difficult concept...the better a team that beat LSU does, the stronger that makes LSU appear...like a domino effect... influences strength of schedule, conference image, etc.Look at where the BIG 12 schools are ranked, excluding Texas and Oklahoma, year after year...
How many SEC teams were highly ranked at the beginning of this season?...a lot of that has to do with the respect for the SEC. I would like to see that continue.

Well first I would like to say "frick YOU YOU frickIN frick" I hate Tex. Nick Saban was my favorite coach at LSU and I will be happy to see him win another NC. It also helps because when Bama completely dismantles Mexas it will make it that much easier for SEC teams to get into the NC game year after year. Im really sorry that no one else likes Texico (well my cousin likes your team but she is a fat obnoxious bandwagon bitch who likes any team that is not LSU). So theres my reason for rooting for Bama. Pulling for Texas, but they looked awful against Nebraska. If they play like that in the NC game, they are total toast! Gawd, I'd hate that. Pull for Saban? NEVER. The guy is a consummate liar, big, big a-hole from everything I've ever read or heard and probably the dirtiest recruiter in the country and from what I've heard, another sports celebrity who can't keep his pants zipped. He has absolutely no conscience and it sickens me that he's back in the national title game. No, there's no way that I can ever pull for that complete arse!

Bama winning the NCG is horrible for LSU. We do butt heads with Texas in recuiting sometimes, but I don't think there is much worse than Bama winning a title.

Yep. I live here in Tuscaloosa and my wife and most of my friends are Gumps too. I will be for Bammer simply for the fact I cant stand Texas just as I could not stand Florida and Tebow. Ive been dealing with these people for over 30 years now and you cant argue with them you just gotta kinda roll with them if you know what I mean. Its impossible to argue with them. Recently had an argument with one of them that "LSU made Nick Saban not that Nick Saban made LSU" and the guy was completely lost. I asked him who exactly was Nick Saban was before he came to LSU and why did Alabama want Coach Nick Saban so bad 3 years ago?? He could not answer but he would never admit to it if he did. I reminded him that Shula and Dubose both won at Alabama.
Let them enjoy their run for now and when it ends remind them of who they really are when its all over!! Kinda makes it more fun that way!! I told them college football is like the NBA everyone makes a lil run.
That being said I am getting two free tickets to a national championship game and going on vacation to LA with my wife for New years simply for being nice to the Bammers. Too bad the football game is gonna get in the way of all my fun.
