I have figured out Russell's problem. He needs adoration, so he needs to tell people when he gets the idol.

At least he realized it was a mistake when he did it.

He is smart the way he went about getting John voted out by asking who would be best to leave, instead of tossing it out himself.

Shanbo may turn, but I think there is a difference in what happened between the way Galu treated her and the way Foa Foa treated her.

Yes, they kept her out of the loop but they haven't treated her like shite like Galu did.

Russell simply needs to explain to her that he was worried that she would not want to vote John off and that then she could have become the target. So he was watching her back to make sure she didn't put herself in that position. I think she would buy that simply because Russell has been one of the only people to pretend to be nice to her.

It amazes me how lame all of the contestants are this season. I know it could be editing, but nobody wants to do any scheming on their own. Maybe John. Without Russell this may have been the most boring season of Survivor and not even close.
