I spend a lot of time in hotels around Baton Rouge and I find it hilarious that the local news channels up here are now reporting on the Saints like it's the home town team. Last year you barely heard a word about the Saints after October.

You have no idea WTF you are talking about. The Saints have always gotten coverage from the news media in BR every week of the season. And I have been a fan for 20 + years as well. Have no problem with new fans coming on board. New fans means more revenue and the possibility that the front office will continue to spend the necessary $$$ to keep great players.

I think the internet has killed off some of the Saints coverage that used to be in the Advocate, but growing up Saints coverage was always right there next to LSU coverage. You sound like you're talking about Shreveport, not Baton Rouge.

Please don't steal his BR bashing thunder. NOLA finally has a team worth talking about after November and he's going to use it as long as he can.
